Alejandro's Tortilla Factory was founded in December 1980 by Jose and Alejandrina Cazares. The Cazares family’s vision, dedication, and aspirations made Alejandro’s the thriving success
it is today.
Initially, our tortillas were made by hand. Eventually, we began selling tortillas from the factory directly to the public and local businesses. As the wholesale and retail business grew with demand, our family purchased a delivery vehicle and started our first route.
Expansion And Growth
In December 1984, Ricardo and Lorena Cazares took over as the owners of the business. With their hard work and dedication, Alejandro’s Tortilla Factory became one of the largest tortilla factories and bakeries in the Tucson area.
In October 2002, Ricardo and Lorena incorporated and formed El Tortillero LLC doing business as Alejandro's Tortilla Factory and Mercadito La Unica.
Alejandro's Tortilla Factory currently manufactures and distributes tortillas and bread to major supermarket chains – as well as to most restaurants – in Tucson, Phoenix, and Southern Arizona.
The Future Of Our Business
El Tortillero LLC continues to grow and expand in Tucson and Southern Arizona. Our vision for El Tortillero is to continue that trend across the state of Arizona through the acquisition of top-of-the-line equipment while retaining and developing key employees.
El Tortillero LLC plans to provide
